From now until the December 31, when you buy a membership you’ll receive an awesome Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum hat with either a hummingbird or cactus wren on it! (Must be picked up on Museum grounds) Member benefits include discounts at our gift store and restaurants, discounted pricing for special events, and of course unlimited admission to the museum 365 days a year. Adoptions
Give the gift of a fuzzy, furry, or scaly animal and they’ll become a “proud parent” of a desert animal. Our symbolic adoption program allows you to give this unique gift to a special someone (or even to yourself)! You can choose to adopt a hummingbird, Gila monster, Mexican Gray wolf, prairie dog, or a javelina. Our basic adoption package ($35) includes a personalized adoption certificate and letter, a 4×6 glossy photo of your adopted animal, educational materials, recognition on our website, subscription to the Desert Dispatch e-newsletter, and exclusive access to your very own adopted animal webpage. Our enhanced adoption package ($50) includes everything in the basic adoption plus an adorable plushie of the adopted animal (pictured below) and a “Proud Parent” canvas tote bag. ASDM Press
Reading is fun, especially when it involves the beauty of the desert. From art books to children’s stories to field guides, ASDM Press offers something for everyone on your holiday shopping list. Come stop by the gift shop or shop online for a wide selection of books. Bonus: many books are now discounted up to 50 %. When you purchase a book, not only are you giving someone a great gift, but you’re also supporting the Museum.

The newly renovated gift shop has an upper and lower level filled with desert gifts for everyone. There is an enormous amount of awesome gifts like a blinged out ASDM t-shirt, javelina cookie cutters, rattlesnake plushies, Christmas cactus socks, and even a mini desert for someone to have in their own home.
